Hi, I'm

I'm a Senior Product Designer based in San Diego with 15+ years of experience. I bring thoughtful design, strong ownership, and a knack for turning "we need a thing" into "hell yes, that works."

My story

My story

I've had a passion for art and creativity since I was a kid. I used to draw all the time – and on everything I could get my hands on (sorry about the walls, Mom). I've loved designing things since learning about Photoshop in middle school, back when customizing MySpace and Xanga pages counted as a productive use of time.

That curiosity eventually grew into a career in design, and to this day, I’m still fascinated by the challenge of turning complex problems into experiences that make sense.

My professional background

My professional background

I’m a multidisciplinary designer with experience across product design, UX/UI, visual design, and creative direction. I’ve led teams, mentored designers, and owned projects from start to finish. I do my best work alongside smart, curious people who care about making things better.

I’m comfortable jumping between strategy and execution, getting into the details, and figuring out what makes an experience work. I’m always looking for ways to improve both the work and the process behind it.

Beyond the work

Beyond the work

When I'm not designing, I love taking walks with my dogs and husband. I've been on the hunt for dog-friendly places in San Diego to explore (besides your usual parks and beaches). If you know any hidden gems, please let me know!

Besides that I love wandering through museums, going to places where I can admire trees, and browsing antique shops in hopes of finding little trinket treasures. I’ve also recently enjoyed getting into weight lifting. Oh, and bowling!

I aspire to be a more “outdoorsy” person, but let’s be honest… I’m more of the “indoorsy” type.

My natural state of being is curling up at home with a good book, or watching TV and movies (I’ve been really into horror lately), and, of course, having a good snack.

I’m slowly learning ASL. I hope to learn how to forage someday. Maybe there’s still hope for that outdoorsy version of me?
