Art Center Canvas provides software and support services for arts education centers. Their existing website was outdated and text-heavy, making it difficult to understand their platform and connect with the brand. I led the website redesign from initial visual direction through implementation, translating Art Center Canvas's existing brand guidelines into a cohesive digital experience. I designed the core website pages and landing page layouts, establishing flexible patterns that could be carried across the site. Once the designs were approved, I partnered closely with the developer through implementation and launch, providing design QA throughout the process and post-launch.

Creating clarity
The existing site relied heavily on text without a clear information hierarchy, making it difficult for visitors to quickly understand the platform, its capabilities, or its value. There was an opportunity to create a more structured and intuitive experience that made the product easier to understand.
Connecting with the audience
The site also lacked imagery and visual context, making the experience feel disconnected from the people and organizations it serves. The redesign created an opportunity to introduce more personality, human connection, and a clearer sense of what it could be like to use the platform.
