Green Dreams Landscape Design + Build is a San Diego landscaping company specializing in high-end landscape design and installation. They came to Explore Digital looking for a more elevated website and an updated brand expression that would better showcase their work. I led the design team responsible for creating a visual, editorial-style experience centered around Green Dreams’ portfolio of landscape projects. I reviewed and refined the team’s designs, guided the design process, and stepped in to work directly with the client when a more hands-on design conversation was needed.

Evolving the brand online
Green Dreams wanted to strengthen its digital presence while evolving its existing brand. The new website needed to better reflect the quality of its landscape design and installation work and create a stronger visual presence for the brand.
A more visual experience
With a large portfolio of completed landscapes, there was an opportunity to make the work itself the focus of the new experience. The client wanted the site to feel immersive and highly visual, with photography playing a central role.

We approached the new site more like a gallery than a traditional landscaping website, using large-scale photography, spacious layouts, and editorial-style compositions to give each project room to shine.

The updated visual language brought greater consistency and polish to the brand online, creating a website that better reflected the quality and character of the landscapes Green Dreams creates.
